The trip is about to begin!

Upon arrival at the hotel, the OM Cycling Tours team will be there to welcome you. After check-in, we’ll settle in and then perform a bike fit to ensure your bike is perfectly set up. Next, we’ll head out for a warm-up ride to get into the spirit of the trip.

The day ends with a welcome drink and a group dinner—the perfect time to get to know each other, share first impressions, and finalize the last details of the tour together.

The Passo delle Erbe connects Val Badia to Val di Funes and is one of the quietest and most scenic passes in the Dolomites. From the San Martino in Badia side, the climb is challenging, with gradients reaching up to 16–18%.

At an elevation of 1,982 meters, it offers a direct view of Sasso Putia and lies at the foot of the Peitlerkofel, among the westernmost mountains of the Dolomites. It connects the Gadertal (San Martino in Thurn) with the Villnößtal and the Lüsner Tal and is less busy than the more famous passes.

The Pordoi Pass, known as the “Queen of the Dolomites,” is one of cycling’s most iconic climbs. Together with the Marmolada, it offers an unmissable combination for those who love high-altitude challenges.

The day’s itinerary includes the ascent of the Pordoi Pass from the Granfondo route, followed by the climb to the Marmolada from the Val di Fassa, passing through Canazei. Two iconic climbs, perfect for those who want to add a complete Dolomite experience to their list of achievements.

We’ll follow a classic Dolomite route that combines history with breathtaking scenery: an ascent to Passo Falzarego (warm-up and panoramic views), a technical descent, and then the impressive climb to Passo Giau, one of the region’s most iconic and photogenic Alpine passes.

Planned stops for photos, hydration, and lunch at a typical mountain hut/restaurant along the route. Goal: to acclimate your legs to the mountain terrain, enjoy the scenery, and find your rhythm for the week ahead.

Sellaronda Tour, the heart of the Dolomites. On this day, we’ll ride one of the most iconic cycling routes in the Dolomites: the Sellaronda, a spectacular route that circles the Sella massif and connects four legendary mountain passes.

We’ll set off from the hotel to tackle the Campolongo, Pordoi, Sella, and Gardena passes, enjoying perfect roads, endless curves, and unforgettable views. An ideal stage to keep racking up elevation gain while experiencing the essence of cycling in this region.

Along the way, we’ll stop for coffee, photos, and lunch at a mountain hut.

On the eve of the Maratona delle Dolomiti, we’ll take a short, easy bike ride to keep our legs active without tiring them out. This ride is designed to warm up, get familiar with the terrain, and enjoy cycling in a unique setting.

The route will include a gentle climb to Passo Campolongo, one of the race’s classic ascents, ideal for getting used to the climbing pace and perfecting your technique before the big day. During the ride, we’ll stop for coffee and to take photos, maintaining a relaxed and leisurely pace.

Upon returning to the hotel, we’ll finalize our preparations for the race: bike check, logistics, and a good night’s rest to be ready for the challenge the next day.

The big day of the trip has arrived: one of the most prestigious and spectacular cycling events in the world.

With thousands of cyclists from all over the world and the roads completely closed to traffic, we’ll experience a unique adventure as we ride through some of the most iconic mountain passes in the Dolomites.

After the race, we’ll return to the hotel to celebrate our success, share the day’s experiences, and enjoy a well-deserved group dinner in the Dolomites.
